With the unofficial cannabis consumer holiday coming up it's important that we make our presence known in town and raise awareness about the need to reform our laws.
A rally is a perfect way to do this and our previous rally drew a very positive response when we had about 30 people attend.
This rally will be in the same location at the corner of Waco Dr and Valley Mills Dr. We'll be there from noon to 3 and will provide water.
We'll have a few signs available, though we definitely encourage you to make your own signs. Please stay positive and professional.
Also remember that any illegal activity is not permitted and you will be asked to leave.
The rally will be on Saturday, April 16.
This is a come and go event, please feel free to come when you like and stay for as long as you like, and remember, bring your friends. This is a fun event and the outpouring of support from local residents is fantastic.
Rain is in the forecast, but shouldn't move in until mid afternoon. We fully expect to be out there all three hours.
Later that evening come join us at Mr. Magoos, a bar which is located just down the road for some live music by Abog Power Trio.
We'll have our table set up at 8:30. The music starts at 9.
The address for Mr. Magoos is 4601 Hodde Dr, right across the street from Golden Corral.
