Students for Sensible Drug Policy and the Cultural Events Board present the 3rd Annual 2016 Cannabis Symposium! In the hopes of transforming the previous 4/20 protest on campus, we are hosting this day-long event to promote public education, personal safety, and political engagement.
The Cannabis Symposium will take place on 4/20 in the Glenn Miller Ballroom in the University Memorial Center at the University of Colorado Boulder. The event will feature 5 keynote speakers, 8 panels, discussions led by student organizations, and more! CU Boulder Police Chief Melissa Zak will be giving the opening plenary address at 10am in the spirit of collaborating with the community on this important campus tradition.
Medicinal Mindfulness will be hosting a Medicine Song Community Breathwork in UMC room 235 from 8pm-10:30pm. This experiential program is designed to give participants a firsthand experience of an intentional "psychedelic" journey, safely and without the use of psychoactive substances.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
