Join our monthly club meeting with two guest speakers:
* Joe Walsh - member of the Oregon Progressive Party will speak on current status of police accountability in Portland
* Nicholas Caleb - an attorney and member of the faculty at Concordia University will describe the provisions of, and address your questions about, a second initiative regarding the governance of Portland's water system. The first initiative would create a publicly elected water board or commission while this second initiative would establish water as a public trust.
Public is welcome. This is not connected to the Democratic Party. Meeting starts at 12 noon; ends at 2 PM. Admission: No cost; however, membership is encouraged ($5 annual membership fee).
