Get my own event onto Heyevent »
Heyevent gathers and recommends Public events from Facebook. In order to get your own event onto the site, you need to do the following:
- Make sure that the Facebook event has it's privacy setting set to Public.
- Make sure you are attending the event with your Facebook account.
- Sign in to Heyevent using your Facebook account.
It might take up to 24 hours for the event to appear on the website.
For events created using a Facebook page, once we got one of the events on Heyevent, we will automatically find any other public events created by the same page.
Update the information of an event »
Heyevent gathers and recommends Public events from Facebook. Therefore, the way to update the information of an event on Heyevent, is to update the Facebook event. The information will automatically get updated on Heyevent as well, though it might take up to 36 hours.

Remove an event from Heyevent »
Heyevent gathers and recommends Public events from Facebook. If the event is no longer available on Facebook, or if it's no longer Public, the event can be removed immediately.
On each event page, there's a link in the bottom of the page which will take you to a page where you can either remove the event right away, or submit a request that the content is removed.

Heyevent gathers and recommends events from Facebook, but is not affiliated with the events themselves. Therefore, we recommend that you contact the event organizer directly.
On the event page there's a link that says Facebook page which will take you to the event on Facebook. You might be able to find contact details of the organiser there (we have no other contact details of the organiser).
